At the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) now in session in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Trina Solar has called for technological innovation and collaboration with global partners to support the worldwide transition to clean energy. The company has also stressed the importance of green, low-carbon and sustainable development.</p>

A&nbsp;high-altitude solar and storage plant&nbsp;with modules provided by Trina Solar was connected to the grid&nbsp;in November. The project, in&nbsp;two phases, has&nbsp;total installed capacity of 200MW.&nbsp;It is forecast to generate 340million kWh, slash coal that is mined by 102,300 tonnes and CO₂emissions by 280,800 tonnes a year.</p>

Trina Solar (SHA: 688599) has secured a supply agreement with the Brazilian EPC contractor Fiber X to offer solar modules and trackers to the CEMIG&nbsp;SIM project, composed of several distributed generation solar power plants, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. &nbsp;The project has total capacity of 90MW.</p>

UL Solutions, a global safety science leader,&nbsp;published a bankability study report on Trina Solar’s complete Vertex <em>n-</em>type portfolio.
