Cumulative shipments of 210mm modules reached 150GW by the end of June, with Trina Solar accounting for half of that, the global market intelligence provider TrendForce says.</p>

Trina Solar showcased the solar industry’s new competitive edge at RE+ 2023 in Las Vegas: Vertex N and Vertex S+ with <em>n</em>-type i-TOPCon Advanced technology. The company also featured its suite of vertically integrated solution, including TrinaTracker, TrinaStorage and Trinahub. Particularly, the utility-scale battery system Trina Storage Elementa adopting TrinaCell is in the spotlight. </p>

Trina Solar has begun to supply Vertex N 700W+ series modules to the 560MW PV power station in Xinghai County, Qinghai province. The power station is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year, with average annual energy yield of about 1.077 billion kWh.</p>

The photovoltaic power station, boasting a substantial installed capacity of 45.5 MW, was recently integrated into the grid through the expertise of SEPCOIII, a subsidiary of Power China.</p>

Trina Solar, a leading global PV and smart energy total solution provider, announced its mass production of Vertex N 700W+ series modules, with module efficiency reaching 22.5% on August 18. It marks Trina Solar as the first module maker to mass produce TOPCon modules with power exceeding 700W. According to Trina Solar, the industrialization capability of 210mm n-type modules will be comprehensively improved, and Vertex N modules will be continuously upgraded with 10-15W increase in power output in 2024.</p>

Trina Solar has yet again extended its international footprint with the production of 210mm monocrystalline silicon wafers in Vietnam. The first wafers rolled off the production line of the factory in the city of Thai Nguyen, 80 kilometers north of Hanoi, on Aug 23<sup>rd</sup>. The factory will be able to produce 6.5GW of wafer annually. With this new capacity, Trina Solar will have greater flexibility in being able to deliver its products worldwide.</p>

The photovoltaic power station for a desalination plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, with total installed capacity of 45.5 MW, was connected to the grid recently, fully equipped with Trina Solar’s Vertex N 700W series modules. Engineering, procurement and construction of the project was undertaken by SEPCOIII, affiliated to Power China.</p>

This is the fourth time Trina Solar has been honored with the accolade, exemplifying its leadership in the PV industry. </p>
