UL Solutions, a global safety science leader, published a bankability study report on Trina Solar’s complete Vertex n-type portfolio. The report’s findings showed that the series modules prove to have outstanding product reliability and lower LCOE for highly recognized bankability.</p>

Trina Solar has supplied a children’s and community center in the Australian city of Melbourne with its Vertex S+ modules, making yet another significant contribution to sustainable development with clean energy. Total installed capacity of the project is 35.1kW, using Trina Solar’s Vertex S+ modules. Once connected to the grid, it will generate 40,065.91kWh and cut CO 2 emissions by 33.58 tonnes a year.</p>

The project, now successfully connected to the grid, has a PV installed capacity of 400MW and is further supported by this energy storage system.</p>

Trina Solar has reported revenue of $11.58 billion (RMB 81.12 billion) in the first three quarters of 2023, 31.22 percent more than in the corresponding period last year. The company’s report, that was made public on October 27, also showed that Trina Solar continues to lead the industry with 45-46GW modules shipments, ranking second globally and 5.6GW trackers and fixed tilt racks deliveries for the first three quarters.&nbsp;</p>

Trina Solar’s 210mm Vertex ultra-high power modules, including the Vertex N 700W and the Vertex 670W, are being used in a 2GW photovoltaic project in coal mine goafs in Ningxia, China. Once the station is connected to the grid it is forecast to save about 960,000 tons of standard coal and cut carbon dioxide emissions by about 2.62 million tons a year.</p>

The company received the award at the 2023 Sustainable Business Awards conference and ceremony in Shanghai on Sept 6. The award recognises Trina Solar’s exceptional decarbonisation performance at a business operations level and is a testament to its contribution to achieving the climate ambitions set out in the Paris Agreement of 2015.</p>

Cumulative shipments of 210mm modules reached 150GW by the end of June, with Trina Solar accounting for half of that, reported TrendForce, a global market intelligence provider.</p>
