The <strong>Advanced Module Technologies Conference</strong> on 210mm sized solar modules went online as scheduled on January 27, 2021, with Trina Solar, Risen Energy, Canadian Solar, INES and other organizations devoting insights to the discussions. Trina Solar was invited to deliver a keynote speech and participate in a round-table discussion, expounding the technological advantages of 210mm sized modules and discussed the development of advanced photovoltaic module technology with domestic and overseas practitioners in the photovoltaic industry.</p>

Trina Solar today announced that its Vertex 660W+ solar power modules have received IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certification for their performance and safety from TÜV Rheinland. This series generates power of 675W with a conversion efficiency of 21.7%. It is the world's first IEC certification for 660W+ modules issued by a highly authoritative international certifying body. It is also another major breakthrough in terms of the reliability of Trina Solar's Vertex 210 modules. This industrial milestone was marked at a certification ceremony in Changzhou.</p>

The second phase of the Los Llanos photovoltaic power plant project developed and managed by Trina Solar in Colombia has been connected to the grid and the start of its commercial operations officially declared.</p>

DNV GL, the international leading design institutes and the well-known third-party organization, just reported the value of Trina Solar’s 600W+ Vertex Bifacial Dual-Glass Module with Single-Axis 2 portrait installation (2P) tracker, calculating their systematic advantages of BOS and LCOE, resulting the continuous BOS saving up to 6.32% and LCOE reduction by 3.72% compared with the 166mm bifacial dual-glass module. The assessment was carried out at two PV sites in Spain and the US, given their geographical representation.</p>

TrinaTracker consists of two series of trackers, the Agile 600+ and the Vanguard 600+, which perfectly cater to leading 210mm ultra-high power 600W+ and 550W modules and continue the trend of 600W+ ultra-high power modules development in the industry.</p>

On December 24, 2020, Trina Solar’s first solar plant in South Korea began commercial operation. Jincheon solar plant, the 500kW installation is expected to generate around 700MWh of safe and clean electricity per year capable of powering more than 1,000 local homes. Considering the local resource and conditions, the solar plant system adopts Trina Solar’s bifacial-dual-glass modules to increase energy production.</p>
