Munich, 31 May, 2016 --Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a global leader in photovoltaic ("PV") modules, will present its upgraded European product portfolio as well as new solutions at Intersolar Europe (Booth 480/Hall A1) from 22-24 June, 2016. Trina Solar Chief Scientist Dr. Pierre Verlinden and his team will also chair several sessions on new PV technology at the EU PVSEC conference which is held at the same time.
At Intersolar Europe, the Company will present its current product portfolio produced at its new manufacturing facility in Vietnam. The recent expansion of Trina Solar’s production footprint has been significant for the company, enabling it to offer non-Chinese manufactured modules as well as market-driven pricing. Both multicrystalline Honey Plus and monocrystalline Honey M Plus high performance solar modules are available out of Vietnam. The entire product portfolio is currently being upgraded to carry a dual certification by IEC and UL standards.
The presentation at the trade show will also include new solutions such as the latest 72-cell monocrystalline dual glass module Duomax M. This frameless module is focused on maximum efficiency and especially well suited for large-scale projects in challenging environmental conditions. The form factor reduces assembly costs and ensures a high return on investment.
Trina Solar’s Vice President and Chief Scientist Dr. Pierre Verlinden, who was recently honoured with the 2016 William R. Cherry Award, for his great contribution and dedication at the forefront of PV technology and commercialization, will chair a session on wafer-based silicon technology at the EU PVSEC conference on June 21st. The conference will be held in parallel to Intersolar at the Munich exhibition centre. Other members of his team from the Trina Solar State Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Science and Technology will also chair sessions on cutting-edge scientific topics they are currently working on.
