ME/Trina Solar Secures 50 MW Floating Solar Photovoltaic (FPV) Project in Sarawak, Malaysia

Trina Solar announced that it has secured the 50 MWac (71 MWdc) Floating Solar Photovoltaic (FPV) project in Malaysian state of Sarawak, in the auction hold by Sarawak Energy Berhad, a vertically integrated power utility in Sarawak and also Malaysia’s largest renewable energy provider. This will be the first large-scale FPV project to be built in Sarawak.</p>

On June 28, the ceremony marking the start of construction of the Trina Solar (Xining) New Energy Industrial Park project was held in Xining, provincial capital of the central Chinese province of Qinghai. TÜV Rheinland and CPVT have reported recently that the power generation performance of 600W+ modules is superior to that of other modules, with the latest test results of at least 2% higher than reference modules in Germany. Experts from TÜV Rheinland, CPVT and Trina Solar looked at the reasons for 210 Vertex’s high energy yield.&nbsp;</p>
