The IDEA award, organized by the IDSA, is widely recognized as one of the world's most prestigious industrial design awards. It celebrates the world's most innovative and impactful designs, assessed in five areas: appropriate aesthetics, design innovation, benefit to user, benefit to brand, and benefit to society. The award recognizes Vertex S+ series that are visually appealing, functional, socially responsible and commercially viable.
Trinasolar's Vertex S+ series presents a new aesthetic experience to a high standard in every detail. Compared with traditional blue cell with silver frame, the Vertex S+ Series takes black as the dominant color and can perfectly match many styles of rooftops with high consistency and integrity, of which NEG9RC.27 incorporates transparent laminates for better light transmittance, thus adapting to special settings such as carports, awnings and sunrooms. NEG9R.25 strictly controls the chroma uniformity of black between all cells, between cells and frames and between modules, ensuring a highly unified and integrated aesthetic appearance in hue, lightness and evenness, thus making it particularly suitable in high-end residential settings.
The Vertex S+ Series, based on the 210mm rectangular silicon wafer cell technology, features n-type i-TOPCon advanced technology. Its triple-cut cells have been designed for a more flexible layout, maximizing module power output in an area of less than 2m2, with NEG9RC.27 reaching up to 450W+ and NEG9R.25 up to 455W+, improving full-lifecycle power generation capacity and helping maximize customer value.
The lightweight 1.6+1.6mm dual-glass design, with a weight comparable to backsheet modules, ensures that the Vertex S+ Series is easy to carry and install. The dual-glass structure can withstand mechanical loads of up to 5,400 Pa positive load and 2,400 Pa negative load, making it resilient in extreme weather. In addition, ultra-low degradation, a low-temperature coefficient and excellent fire rating (class A+C) have earned the Vertex S+ Series a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year power warranty. Recognized for its excellence in low-carbon practices, the Vertex S+ Series was awarded EPD Norway and EPD International by TÜV Rheinland this year.
