She used water resource management as an example, detailing Trinasolar's efficient utilization of water resources through measures such as recycled water, equipment modifications, and upgrades. In 2023, the water consumption intensity per unit of cell product decreased by 85.48% compared to the baseline year, and the water consumption intensity per unit of module product decreased by 44.40%, both exceeding the previously set 2025 water management targets ahead of schedule.
The development of a robust and traceable supply chain is essential for securing low-carbon capital. Investors, banks, and customers increasingly demand high ESG standards and transparency. By leveraging technology and digitalization, Trinasolar ensures that its supply chain meets these stringent requirements. This includes tracking every component of solar panels to guarantee their compliance with environmental and labor standards.

Despite the challenges, Helena remains optimistic about Asia's renewable energy future. The progress made in reducing emissions, increasing solar adoption, and enhancing efficiency demonstrates the potential to achieve a low-carbon, resilient future. In the first quarter of last year alone, Trinasolar’s cumulative global PV module shipments exceeded 205 GW, capable of producing 276.75 billion kWh of clean energy annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 276 million tons, equivalent to planting 15.1 billion trees worldwide. These achievements motivate the company to push forward, whether through small steps or significant milestones.
