TrinaTracker, a leading tracker manufacturer and business unit of Trina Solar Co., Ltd., has released the white paper "TrinaTracker Spherical Bearing: Unique three-dimensional long-lasting patented component". The document proves the advantages of the spherical bearing’s unique geometric design through rigorous testing and long-term outdoor reliability.

The white paper describes the advantages of spherical bearings over conventional cylindrical bearings after performing numerous tests in real installations.

Verified by a serial rigorous tests including non-uniform snow-load test, extreme DML test and extreme wind tunnel test, Trina Solar’s Vertex modules continue to show outstanding performance and excellent mechanical load reliability by passing another -40°C extreme low-temperature mechanical load test, demonstrating excellent ability to withstand extremely cold conditions.

TrinaTracker, a leading tracker manufacturer and business unit of Trina Solar Co., Ltd., has effectively demonstrated for an entire year the efficient operation of its 600 MW photovoltaic plant, as part of the ±800 kV UHV DC Power Transmission Project located in Qinghai-Henan, China. Furthermore, Trina Solar has been the only supplier of the whole installation that provided both modules and trackers.

Recently, Trina Solar released a series of testing results on the mechanical reliability of the 670W Vertex module. Covering six tests, including static mechanical load test and five rigorous tests including non-uniform snow-load test, extreme low-temperature mechanical Load test, hail test, extreme DML test and extreme wind tunnel test, the serial testing results achieved an across-the-board verification of the excellent mechanical load reliability of the 670W Vertex modules.

TrinaTracker, a leading tracker manufacturer and subsidiary company of Trina Solar Co., Ltd., has ratified the stability of its Agile 1P and Vanguard 2P series in extreme weather conditions by performing wind tunnel tests in collaboration with the leading wind engineering consultancy firms CPP and RWDI. The tracker designs were further optimised according to the data gathered from the tests. Based on the test results, the Company has issued a white paper about how to ensure and validate tracker stability in combination with ultra-high power PV modules.
